HBM Ashton Limited is a multi-disciplinary Architecture and Building Surveying Practice. Our in-house team encompasses experienced Chartered Surveyors working alongside Chartered Architects throughout the design and construction process, providing innovative design and cost-effective solutions in consideration to buildability and end user.
HBMA originates from its predecessor Dears Brack, which is a name that has been associated with professional property consultancy on Merseyside for over 40 years. The company provides a holistic approach to property advice, ensuring a comprehensive and inclusive service in both the commercial and residential sectors.
Glen Moody

Glen is a Chartered Building Surveyor with extensive experience in both project and professional services across all market sectors.
Over 30 years experience has been gained in the surveying and appraisal of buildings and property related matters. Glen has primarily practiced to maintain, adapt and refurbish residential, commercial and educational buildings with much emphasis on employers agent and project management services including lead-designer role duties in both new development and conversion projects.
Advice is regularly provided on the condition and value of buildings and their suitability for repair and adaptation having regard to construction feasibility, value appraisal and legislative requirements.
